It looks like maybe you only support outlook email on individual rather than work/school accounts. Mine didn't work and the option to set up an app password is not available on work/school accounts (at least not the 2 that I have).

Fresh out of the oven. We are now supporting Outlook using Microsoft OAuth 2.0. It should work without the involvement of the sys admin.
